NEXTNANO (NXT)

NXT is the theory partner in the project developing and providing advanced modelling capabilities for calculating the optical absorption spectra and refractive index (n,k) in SiGe heterostructures under electric field. NXT will work very closely with IMEC on epitaxial design layout and on benchmarking the experimental measurements with the simulations. NXT will optimize the physical properties of the SiGe multi-quantum well stack based on quick feedback loops with IMEC. NXT will lead Task 2.1 “Physical modelling framework for QCSE MQW and GeSi/SACM stacks” and coordinates WP2 “Device modelling and design enablement”.
